Modesty & Fashion, are two words that are rarely used in the same sentence. When we talk about fashion of the contemporary type, we generally are talking colour, cut outs oversizing, and generally anything that isn't modest. How? and Why? has western culture become this way, and is there such things as Modest Fashion?
Menswear is a whole totally different 'kettle of fish' when it comes to modesty, excuse my use of Australian slang... But what do you call modest in terms of mens fashion? Is it the idea of a suit? Or the idea of simply covering up? What truly enables mens fashion to be modest or not?
